The Southern Berkshire Elderly Transpotation (S.B.E.T.C.) operates out of the Claire Teague Senior Center and services 8 surrounding towns. Their hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 8am - 4pm and dispatch hours are Mondays 8am - 12pm, Tuesdays - Thursdays 8am - 2pm and Fridays 8am - 12pm
The van comes to Monterey every Thursday and round trip pricing (includes one stop) is $10.
You'll need to call 24 hours in advance for transportation to doctors, dentists, shopping or the Senior Center. Appointments must be scheduled before 2pm and you may leave a message on the answering machine. Calls will be returned on the next business day. A fee will be charged for a client no-show.
