Monterey Cemeteries:
Veterans War Memorial
Corashire Cemetery (1823), the oldest
Henwood (1756)
Old Center (1799)
Mt. Hunger (1774) and
Chestnut Hill (1774). A note of interest is that Chestnut Hill Cemetery, near New England Keswick, was originally a part of the town of Sandisfield. In 1872 the towns of Monterey, Sandisfield and New Marlboro exchanged some of their boundary lines, and in so doing Monterey acquired that cemetery. Anyone doing genealogy for those buried there would need to do their research in Sandisfield.
