Thanksgiving Basket Donations
The Town Hall will once again be accepting donations to fill Thanksgiving Baskets for families that qualify. The baskets are put together by the Berkshire Community Action Council located on Castle Street in Gt. Barrington.
The Town Hall will be accepting the following non-perishable items:
- Stuffing ingredients
- Canned cranberry sauce
- Canned or box soup
- Canned vegetables
- Canned gravy or gravy packets
- Instant potatoes
- Gift Certificates to Price Chopper or Big Y for perishable items such as:
- Turkeys, Chickens, butter, desserts, fruit, potatoes
Donations can be made Mondays 8am – 6pm, Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays 8am – 4pm, Wednesdays 8:00am – 11:30am or on Saturdays from 9:30am – 12:30pm.
A box will be located outside the Inter-Departmental Secretary’s Office. All donations need to be into the Town Hall no later than Thursday, November 19th. Please do not hesitate to call Melissa Noe, Inter-Departmental Secretary at 528.1443 x111 with any questions.
