Function:	The Monterey Zoning Board of Appeals is the judicial branch of local government in matters of land use regulated by our Zoning By-Law. The ZBA convenes only to hear cases. In every case, the Board conducts a public hearing, then deliberates and votes its decision. This Board hears and decides Requests for Variances (as provided in the Zoning By-Law), Special Permits and Appeals.
