JOIN US TO TELL STATE LEGISLATORS WHY GOVERNOR PATRICK'S $25 MILLION BROADBAND INITIATIVE BILL IS CRITICAL TO BERKSHIRE COUNTY!
The Southern Berkshire Chamber of Commerce is organizing a Broadband Bus to Boston to take part in the public hearing of the Broadband Initiative before the Joint Committee on Bonding, Capital Expenditures & State Assets, Thursday, February 14, 2008, at 11:00 AM at the State House, Hearing Room A-2.
The Dufour coach bus will be picking up on February 14th at the Prime Outlets in Lee at 7:30am. Please look for the Dufour bus in the back, left parking lot.
We will arrive in Boston at 10am. Departure time from the State House depends on the length of the hearing, but will be no later than 5pm.
Seats are $25 per person. Please call me at 413-528-4284 or email me at kristin@southernberkshirechamber.com ASAP to reserve your seat no later than Monday, February 11th. If we have a large response, we are able to book a second bus. Please bring your own brown bag lunch.
We strongly encourage you to come and to invite all interested citizens. The Joint Committee is not accoustomed to large groups and we want to get the message across with a packed House. Please forward this email to anyone you think might want to go.
