PUBLIC NOTICE
The Conservation Commission for the Town of Monterey will hold a Public Meeting on Monday, September 14, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. at the Monterey Town Offices, Monterey Grange #291, 435 Main Road, Monterey, MA, to act on a Request for Determination of Applicability, MWPA GLC 131 section 40, for Carl T. and Elise Hartman of 37 Steven’s Lake Rd, Monterey to excavate within an existing building footprint, temporarily stockpile excavated and borrowed material, and perform minor site improvements within the 50’ no disturbance zone and the 100’ buffer zone of Steven’s Pond. A portion of the proposed work will occur within the buffer zone of a stream that bisects the property.
