PUBLIC NOTICE (Berkshire Record)
The Conservation Commission for the Town of Monterey will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 6:00pm at the Monterey Town Offices, Monterey Grange #291, 435 Main Road, Monterey, MA to act on a Notice of Intent, MWPA GLC 131 section 40 for Robert Kaplan and Jamie Schuval Kaplan of 151 Hupi Rd, Monterey to remove an asphalt path, replace with sod, remove concrete steps leading to boathouse and replace with stone steps, remove one dead tree and strip the lawn area and plant with sod. This project takes place in the 100ft buffer zone of Lake Garfield.

The Conservation Commission for the Town of Monterey, pursuant to the provisions of the Berkshire Scenic Mountains Act, Chapter 131, Section 39A of the Massachusetts General Laws, will conduct a Public Meeting on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at the Monterey Town Offices, Monterey Grange #291, 435 Main Road, Monterey, MA, to consider the SMA Request for Determination of Applicability of Robert Kaplan and Jamie Schuval Kaplan of 151 Hupi Rd, Monterey to construct an addition to an existing house and deck, remove an asphalt path and remove lawn areas and replace with sod. The proposed work is in a mapped scenic mountain region.
