Minutes Parks commission 6-7-06
1. Garbage at the beach. Carry in Carry out signs needed at the beach.
Who picks up trash. Leroy will check with the sanitation employees. Also need a barrel for recycling refundable cans and bottles.
2. Bidwell park problem. Dog curbing needed. Andrew will write a blurb for the Monterey news.
3. Valerie will write a thank you to Lee Tryon for volunteering time and equipment to fix the ball field.
4. Meet with lifeguards: Kelly Funk, Bethany Mather, and Katie Miller Emily Shaw. Reviewed policies and salary scale. Hours will be 10 to 6p.m. Kelly Coon and Bethany Mater will be on Tues - Sat and Emily Shaw and Kelly Funk will be on Sun. And Mon. Katie Miller will be available to fill in.
