October 9, 2020 Board of Assessors Meeting

Property Owner

Meeting called to order:  10:00 a.m.

The property owner states that the value on his property as assessed by the Monterey Board of Assessors is too high.  He has supplied documentation to support his opinion.

The property owner suggests that, based on comps which he supplied, his property should be valued lower.

The property owner requests that two specific properties be used as his comparison properties.  He asks that the Board visit his property and the properties that he has provided as comps.

The property owner suggested that the assessed value for his property for FY 2019 and FY 2020 be lowered and the valuation for FY 2021 be increased.

The meeting adjourned at 10:43
