FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING

FEBRUARY 28, 2020

MINUTES

ATTENDING MEMBERS:                     

            GEORGE CAIN, CHAIR                         JOHN WEINGOLD

The meeting was called to order at 4:30 PM. 

Discussed the Dept. of Public Works expenses and capital budget.

The Community Center Revolving Account was also discussed.  To keep the account with a positive balance, the idea of increased usage fees should be considered.

The level of $30,000 for the Reserve Fund was considered and recommended.

Further review and analysis of the healthcare account was planned.

The lack of the Fire Department’s timely response to our requests for basic information was noted.

A previous plan to provide for an IT Audit was noted.

Minutes from the 2/21/2020 meeting were approved.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:30 PM.
