Board of Health Meeting Minutes 12/16/19

MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES

Date:  December 16, 2019

Present:  John Makuc and Roy Carwile  

Also Present: Jim Wilusz, Steve Nelson

The meeting began at 4pm

1. The Board reviewed proposed septic plans for 20 Northwest Cove Rd with Steve Nelson.  A temporary tight tank (phase 1) was approved earlier, they are now seeking approval for phase 2 for the field.  Prior to a certificate of occupancy being issued the Board will require a water quality analysis on the well in the spring to confirm it is potable.  The Board approved the plans as submitted with the condition that the work must be completed no later than July of 2021.
2. Permitting software: Jim provided an update and informed the Board of the necessary equipment that will be needed to work from the field.  The project completion date is set for May 2020.
3. The minutes of October 7 were approved as written.
4. The next meeting will be Monday, January 6, 2019 at 4pm.
