Agenda items to be discussed:
The Committee will continue dividing the Historical Commission’s Form A application into duties for each member. Filling out the Form A in our application for Park’s recognition is one way we can more thoroughly explore the foundation and later evolution of the Monterey Village District.
We will be discussing various fundraising possibilities since the Commission has made it clear that we will need to hire a consultant to properly apply for recognition. A figure quoted by one of our contacts is $10,500 for either matching funds or a hire. We will be discussing how to approach various government, corporate, community and private foundations from online sources, as well as whether and how to raise funds within Town.
