Scheduled Agenda Items

  1. Public Hearing for Green Communities Bylaw Proposal Start at 7:10 - Close at 7:40
    1. Discussion -
      1. Suggested an intro to Green Communities benefits before going into the Bylaw
      2. Pointed out that the parcel is town owned so that they have say in what gets built there
      3. Point out that there is no proposal pending at this time.
    2. Pat Salomon proposes that we approve the Bylaw as presented including the amended portion to include  the requirement of a Site plan review.
    3.  Roger Tryon Seconded
    4. Vote was unanimous by the members present to approve

 

 

  1. Gould Farm Site Plan Review
    1. Shaun Tryon Responded approval of the plan representing the Fire department and the Highway department.
    2. Other Boards have until April 18th to respond (35 days)
    3. Rob Hoogs presented updates to the plan based on comments from the planning board and the conservation commission
    4. The kitchen will be inspected by the Health department.
    5. No further questions from the board at this time.

 

 

 

  1. 36 Elephant Rock Road - ZBA Opinion
    1. Review of the disputed property
    2. Planning board will send a letter to the ZBA stating:
      1. The zoning bylaws do not allow for a non conforming property to be made more non conforming.  The as constructed structure makes the lot more non conforming.

 

  1. Marijuana Bylaws
    1. No discussion

 

  1. Reports from Board Members
    1. Received a letter from Scott Jenssen Submitting his Resignation.

 

  1. Read Mail/email
    1. Letter from Great Barrington, public hearing on 3/10 for CDC permit for 100 Bridge street
    2. Letter from Great Barrington, Public hearing on 3/19 to remove a condition on 260 state road property
