ZBA Hearing Minutes

Hearing began at: 9am

Members Present Remotely:  Jonathan Levin, Chair, Scott Jenssen, Susan Cooper and Gary Shaw

Also present remotely: Kerry Bartini, Amy Saltzman

The hearing began with Jonathan Levin, Chair, explaining the hearing process for this remote meeting.  The legal notice (which was posted for 2 consecutive weeks in the Berkshire Eagle and at the Town Hall) was read into record by Melissa Noe.  A motion was made to table the reading of any letters received until the date of the continued hearing.  The motion was seconded and unanimously approved.

Due to the precautions being taken to prevent the spread of Coronavirus the meeting was unable to be held in person.  The applicant has requested in writing to postpone today’s special permit hearing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  They feel it would be more effective to have an in-person meeting with the board and that the current guidelines for group meetings will prevent this; and a conference call will not be as effective.  A motion was made to continue the meeting to an in person hearing on May 20, 2020 at 3pm.  The motion was seconded and unanimously approved.

The Board discussed briefly the procedure for the next administrative meeting at 9:45am.

A motion was made and unanimously approved to adjourn at 9:22am.
