  1. Introduction of Commissioners: Present Rawitz, Tomasovich, Zisser, Lichter
  2. Public Input: None

Continuing Business:

  1. Request for Determination of Applicability by Sabrina Simon of  30 Sylvan Road (Map 102, Lot 43) for removal of trees and other vegetation management in the buffer zone.  Applicant submitted Planting Plan for review.  Members discuss special conditions, Zisser motions for negative determination #3 with following special conditions: fueling shall be done outside the buffer zone; Applicant required to contact NHESP; Standard conditions; install straw wattles to prevent runoff into lake; Lichter seconds, Vote is unanimous.

New Business

  1. Request for Determination of Applicability submitted by Stephanie Sloane of 3 Tyringham Road (Map 107, Lot 8) for construction of a 12’ X 20’ garage with removal of one tree:  Tomasovich motion for negative determination #2 with standard conditions, with installation of straw wattles prior to start of work, Zisser seconds, vote is unanimous.
  2. Request for Determination of Applicability by Massachusetts Electric Company for Chestnut Hill Road Public Right of Way for replacement of one existing pole, removal of one existing push brace, and installation of four new above ground distribution poles with associated overhead lines and anchors:  Lichter motions for negative determination #3 with standard conditions compliance, Zisser seconds, vote is unanimous.
  3. Notice of Intent Public Hearing for MA DEP File #230-0326 submitted by Garfield Lakeside Nominee Trust for 24 Lakeside Terrace for removal of several trees in buffer zone of Lake Garfield:  Discussion of project proposal by Shannon Boosma of White Engineering, Inc.: Zisser motions to close public hearing, Lichter seconds, Vote is unanimous; Zisser motion to issue an Order of Conditions with Standard Conditions, Lichter seconds, vote is unanimous.

Additional Items:

  1. Chapter 91 Simplified Dock License for 153 Hupi Road for Ira Brind & Stacey Spector: Members decide to continue item until next scheduled meeting. 
  2. Members discuss obtaining legal opinion for Conservation Trust Fund, and Attending MACC Conference
  3. Adjournment:  Tomasovich motions to adjourn, Lichter seconds, vote is unanimous.
