Meeting opened at 6:00 pm.
New Hearings & Meetings: (Applications are heard in the order they are received at the town hall)
Notice of Intent filed by Meredith Friedman of 68 Tyringham Rd. for a subsurface disposal system upgrade, addition to existing building and reconstruction of a wooden retaining wall. The proposed project lies within the resource area and buffer zone of Lake Garfield.
Chris Tryon of Berkshire Geo-Tech briefed the members and the public on the proposed project. Discussion continued regarding the wire fencing on the bank, vegetated planting on top of the reconstructed retaining wall, material staging. The project was approved with standard and special conditions. JR/RW MSV
Request for Determination filed by M. Griffin & J. Carry of 27 Stevens Lake for the proposed restoration planting in the buffer zone of Stevens Lake.
Tom Ingersol briefed the members and the public on the proposed restoration project. A portion of the proposed project lies within the resource area and buffer zone of Stevens Lake. Discussion continued regarding the lack of a detailed planting plan, limits of work not flagged, delineation of BVW, and the accuracy of property lines.
