New Hearings & Meetings: (Applications are heard in the order they are received at the town hall)

PUBLIC HEARING:  Notice of Intent filed by Keith Rosebrock of 29 Dowd Rd for the proposed associated site work for the reconstruction of an existing boathouse and retaining walls within the buffer zone of Lake Garfield.

Ryan Nelson, representative of the applicant, briefed the members of the project. The commission approved the application as submitted with standard special conditions. PC/NT MSV

 

PUBLIC HEARING: Notice of Intent filed by Hana Rosenzweig of 12 Heberts Cove for the proposed associated site work for the reconstruction of a single family home within the buffer zone of Lake Buel.

Jackson Alberti of Berkshire Eng., representative for the applicant, briefed the commission of the project. The commission approved the application as submitted with standard special conditions and special conditions. PC/NT MSV

 

PUBLIC MEETING: Request for Determination filed by Janie Garnett of 4 & 6 Tin Can Point Rd for the proposed associated site work for the replacements of septic systems within the buffer zone of Lake Buel.

Mike Kelly of Kelly, Granger, and Parsons briefed the members of the project.  The commission approved the application with a N3 as submitted with standard special conditions. PC/NT MSV

 

PUBLIC MEETING: SMA Request for Determination filed by Raya Ariella of 0 Hupi Rd (Map 223, Lot 6) for the proposed site work for a single family home within the mapped area of the Scenic Mountain Act.

Ms. Ariella briefed the members of the proposed project.  The commission approved the application as submitted with standard special conditions.  PC/NT MSV

 

PUBLIC MEETING: SMA Request for Determination filed by Alan Klingenstein of 0 Hupi Rd (Map 105, Lot 15 & 16) Whether the area depicted on the map is within the mapped area of the Scenic Mountain Act.

Paul Clark and Al Thorp briefed the members on what they are seeking for in the determination.  The members agreed that they could not make a decision based on the lack of a plan and a narrative.  The members advised the applicant to withdraw the application as submitted.  The applicant agreed to withdraw the request as submitted.  The withdrawal was approved.  PC/NT MSV

 

Continued Hearings & Meetings:

PUBLIC HEARING:  Notice of Intent filed by Brian Hazelton of Wood to Stone LLC as representative for Anastasia Coulombe of 237 Beartown Mt. Rd for the proposed associated site work for the construction of a stone patio and walkway within 200 foot riverfront area.

The commission approved the application as submitted with standard special conditions.

 

Enforcement Orders and Emergency Certs:

Enforcement - 399 Main Rd – Potential Wetland Violation – a site visit will be scheduled for 8/12

Enforcement – 11 Limerock – request for extension on restoration planting – agent will check the file for a planting list.

Emergency Certificate – 36 Elephant Rd – Ratify – the commission ratified the Emergency Certificate

 

Extensions:

DEP File # 230-242, Town of Monterey, Lake Garfield – JR will review notes for details of the extension.

 

Certificates of Compliance:

DEP File # 230-111, 29 Dowd Rd, Map Lot – The commission approved the COC.

DEP File # 230-262, Northwest Cove Rd, Map 110 Lot 7 – The COC will be continued.

 

Misc.:

Grant Application Support Letter for Lake Garfield – Agent was looking for a copy.  A copy is not available.

MACC Annual Dues FY 2021 – The commission approved the MACC FY dues for FY 2021
