Monterey Council on Aging (COA)

Minutes of June 10, 2019  - Final

The meeting convened at 10:00. Present Were: Kay Purcell, Kyle Pierce, Norma Champigny, Ruth

Champigny, Roz Halberstadter, Ilene Marcus

  1. Reviewed dates for upcoming events:
    1. Bascom Lodge trip 6/19/19 is full! Kyle will send reminder email
    2. Pittsfield Suns 7/7/19 – we will book for 20 and get an invoice
  1. End of Year Planning – pay eligible bills first under State funds and pre-pay when possible.
  2. State Extra Grant – we have tentative approval from Tolland that they will join.  Ilene and Kyle will work on Job description. 
  3. Ideas were discussed for future events including:  AARP Class, Bridge of FlowersHyde Park/Vall-kil, CIA .

Meeting adjourned at 11:30 am
