Finance Committee meeting minutes, Friday, May 15, 2019, 5pm.

Joint budget session with Select Board:

Collins Center proposal to evaluate town need for town administrator: Finance Committee and Select Board agreed to request a contract from the Collins Center.

IT: Finance Committee will propose an IT Steering Committee to evaluate and centralize town’s IT needs.

319 Grant: the Finance Committee informed Dennis Lynch that the proposed town match should have been on the annual town meeting warrant. Also, the Finance Committee informed Mr. Lynch that no monies had been approved at town meeting for engineer expenditures for this grant and thus any expenses incurred could not be paid. 

Baystate will create a schedule for deadlines: FY bills, tax rate, Schedule A and Certified Cash, with an October 31 deadline for all approvals.
