Finance Committee Meeting Minutes 12/21/21

MEETING OF THE MONTEREY FINANCE COMMITTEE  CALLED ORDER ON DECEMBER 21, 2021

Time: 6pm

WELCOME.

Meeting is not being recorded. Chair asked Sylbert to take minutes. He declined stating it was not his job. Chair reminded him that both they and Fitzpatrick had taken minutes previously. He asked for permission to record which Chair granted. Sylbert declined to record on his own.

IN CONSIDERATION OF ALL PARTICIPANTS PLEASE KEEP REMARKS BRIEF AND ON TOPIC. THE CHAIR WILL MOVE TO ADJOURN THE MEETING IF NECESSARY. All votes will be voice votes

AGENDA:

MINUTES AS AVAILABLE: 11/30 Chair and Fitzpatrick vote to accept as written, Sylbert voted no.

Coburn asks that Sylbert state reason but he made no statement.

OML COMPLAINT REVIEW: 11/12, 12/6, 12/13.

Sylbert declined to participate in review of OML and left. Materials had been provided in anticipation of 12/14 meeting (cancelled) and had been reviewed in the meanwhile. Vote to designate respondent was 2-0 for Chair. Response due 12/23.

The meeting was Zoom bombed during the consideration of the OML Complaints which led to some confusion. The intruders were corralled and the meeting adjourned.
