Finance Committee Meeting Minutes

Finance Committee Meeting – Saturday November 9, 2019

Attending members – Jon Sylbert and Rebecca Wolin

Absent member – George Cain, Chair

Meeting started at 10:00 AM

Minutes:

• Discussion of potential town warrants
• Article 1 – cemetery bill – approve
• Article 2 – approve
• Article 3 approved
• Article 4 should be appropriated
• Article 5 approved
• Article 8  approved
• P & Z annual budget for fy 20 – needs to be reviewed and correct for fy21

• Deny transfer of funds as the form it was submitted on was incorrect – the P&Z transfer request needs to be on an internal transfer form

• Article 7 – SB raise and appropriate – Finance board to disapprove

Going forward we need to see warrant article prior to scheduling a town meeting so that the finance committee can review and have their comments on the warrant.
