Finance Committee Hearing March 10 at 5:30 PM
Agenda
Agenda items to be discussed:
This is a Public Hearing to discuss the potential 2021-2022 Town Budget and Warrants
All concerns and questions from the public are welcomed and will be answered
There were only 12 people who joined the hearing, most of whom regularly attended our finance committee meetings.
Jon went over the tax levy schedule, our debt service and spoke a little about the special articles.
We opened the meeting to questions from the floor.
Mickey questioned the library loan and her wish to have more than less of the principal to be paid. The finance committee agreed with her and placed the $72,000 as the payment for the library loan debt (it was not until the last meeting before the select board signed the warrant that they finally agreed to pay down the loan by $72,000)
Mary spoke about the MCC lightening and the need for safety. Michele was concerned about the light pollution.
The meeting adjourned at 6 pm
