FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING WITH SELECT BOARD

APRIL 29, 2020

MINUTES

ATTENDING MEMBERS:

The Call-in Meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM. 

The Finance Committee met with the Select Board to discuss the FY21 budget items open items and to agree on a Warrant presentation format for the Town Meeting.

The Finance Committee and the Select Board are in agreement on all the operating budget items.  Accordingly the presentation of this information in the warrant is not an issue.

The issue of the Warrant Articles and their presentation was discussed.  The one vs. two DPW trucks in the FY 2021 budget remains a point of difference between the Select Board and the Finance Committee.  This difference would also impact the balances in Free Cash and in the Stabilization accounts.

It was agreed that Rebecca would develop a pro-forma proposed format to be reviewed at our next joint meeting in terms of a presentation format for Town Meeting.

The Finance Committee scheduled its next meeting to review Rebecca’s work for Monday, May 4^th, at 4:30 PM.

The Minutes for the Finance Committee meeting for 3/24, 4/1, and 4/15 were reviewed and approved. 

A motion was made and unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at: 10:31 AM
