Finance Committee Meeting Minutes – 4-24-21  @ 11AM

Agenda

Discuss and answer questions from town residents on the budget that will be voted on at town meeting.
Answer other questions from the public

Present – Rebecca Wolin, Jon Silbert. Michele Miller

There were 5 residents who joined the meeting.

Rebecca started out by welcoming everyone, speaking about the process, free cash, stabilization, and Jon spoke about the tax levy.

Mickey J asked about the library loan to ensure we were paying off the higher amount of $72,000 plus interest.  We assured Mickey that amount was in the budget under debt service.

Mary M joined the meeting to ask if anyone had any questions regarding the lights at the MCC.  No one did. 

There were no other questions

There was one piece of finance business we needed to take care of.  The tax collecter needed a reserve fund transfer to purchase a new printer as the old one broke and tax bills need to be printed and mailed prior to the next fiscal year.

Jon made a motion to approve the transfer, Michele seconded, all voted yea.

The meeting adjourned at 11:30 AM
