Meeting opened at 5:30 pm at Town Hall
Finance Committee Members Present: Frank Abbot, Ilene Marcus
Other Individuals Present: Melissa Noe
Call to Order at 5:00 pm

- Moving forward the topic for new business will be listed as public comment.
2.Transfers of Appropriations
Transfer Request from MCC from Reserve Fund
- To cover underbudgeting of the tent resulting in the need to cover electric fund bill. Frank made a motion to approve. Ilene Seconded and both signed.
Transfers from Internal Account to Another Internal Account
- Town Tax Collector moving from software to expense account for office supplies

- $258.4 fire dept from uniforms to other
Frank made a motion to approve. Ilene Seconded and both signed
- $10,281.71 From Snow and Ice to Snow and Ice Overtime
Frank made a motion to approve. Ilene Seconded and both signed
- Ilene reported that Room Occupancy Consolidated rate passed at the town meeting letters have been issued by the state
4.Ilene raised the issue of the Monterey preservation land trust. Melissa suggested connecting with Jon Silbert. Ilene has been following other towns like Sheffield that are using this to preserve farmland.
5. Frank raised the Zero-based budgeting work plan agreed to with the Selectboard. Jeff asked to be involved with that so it will wait for his return in July.
- Frank will work on the FY24 Fire Department and work with the town administrator to start this process over the next few weeks.
Frank made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 5:45 pm. Ilene seconded. Call a vote, unanimous yes.
