Finance Committee Minutes

Finance Committee meeting minutes, Friday, April 26, 2019, 7pm.

Informational meeting: presentations were made on behalf of Green Communities grant and SBRSD changes to district assessment method.

The Finance Committee presented the budget to attendees and answered questions.

It was noted that not one member of the public who was not also a town official attended the meeting. There were 11 in attendance: 3 presenters, 2 members of Sheffield boards, 2 Monterey Select Board members, the Monterey Tax Collector, a Monterey Library Trustee, the Monterey School Committee representative, and a Monterey Assessor.

Jon reported back to committee that the Assessors have not yet received a 3ABC Form from the Fire Company, LTD. for their two properties; such form required for exemption. Assessors were not sure of deadline.

Minutes approved for the following meetings: 6/29/18, 7/10/18, 7/18/18, 8/15/18, 9/26/18, 3/7/19, 3/20/19, 4/3/19, 4/18/19, and 4/26/19.
