Agenda items to be discussed:
The Committee will meet in the Conference Room of the Monterey Library. We will need a formal vote on the final “Dear Neighbor” letter which was combined from offerings from many Committee members. We also need to decide on a date for which we request use of the Church basement, as it will accommodate the nearly thirty house owners in the proposed District.
The Committee needs to address the missing $10,000 mentioned openly by the former School Superintendent as held for the Town of Monterey school. If our Select Board can ask for and receive that money, we will have no problem locating help to apply to Mass Historical Commission for the District after our homeowners meeting.
