AGENDA FOR APRIL 14TH ZOOM MEETING

• Both Suzy and Maureen have packets of the MACRIS information and photos on file for the district buildings. Maureen has taken and uploaded photos of half the buildings. Suzy will also upload photos. Any problems with taking these photos encountered?
• Historical Photos are available in short supply: so far, 1890 from the Corner House toward the Church and Store; 1883 of the Miner/Ross House; possibility of copying photos from the 150th Anniversary review including the sawmill/s.
Discussion of the District and the YouTube videos: What if someone asks what the benefits of this type of district are? Or what if someone argues - what's the point of a district in the Register of Historic Places if it only provides limited, unguaranteed protection against future development in the district? (from Kate). What ideas have people put together for the letter to homeowners?
• USGS Quadrangle Map - US Gov't Official Map with land elevations. Who volunteers to start entering in contributing homes on it to the size of the Monterey Village maps of 1858 and 1876.
• Owner addresses in proposed district. Barbara got the addresses from the assessor (Don Clawson) in hard copy and will make the labels for the district mailings and put addresses into a soft copy for when we need them (not needed yet)
Confirm every other Wednesday at 4:30pm continues to work for committee members.
