Historic District Study Committee Amended Meeting Minutes 12/3/2020

MINUTES OF THE MONTEREY HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMITTEE

Attending: Susan Leon, Cheryl Zellman, Ron Nelson, Maureen McGinnis, Bob Rausch, Barbara Swann

December 3, 2020   4PM to 5:30PM                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            

The committee met and proceeded to begin deliberations toward the definition of a mission statement.  All voting members had been sworn to office and had taken the ethics exam per Massachusetts law.  Two members will need to be appointed by the Select Board..  They were  nominated, had taken the ethics exam and have been sworn to committee duties. Two further nominees are requested

The Committee reviewed various State and local information bulletins and presentations and made copies of some.  After reviewing the material, a lively discussion ensued concerning the direction of the Committee’s work.

The Committee agreed to meet again January 7^th of 2021, at 4PM.  The place of meeting will be noted in the posted agenda for this Committee.  It may be a Zoom meeting if preparations can be made in time, otherwise it will be in the Library Conference Room.
