Historic District Committee
The New website for the Committee was welcomed with great appreciation for all the time, effort and expertise given to us by Kate Lascar Budak.
Reasons for a short meeting were reviewed, and regret that the Library would be unavailable after 5pm, so the meeting, review of old pictures of the village area were completed.
Report on the construction in the early 20th century of both the Kinne and Burrows houses and the fact these families were headed by carpenters. An older blacksmith shop was demolished to build the Kinne house next to the then soon to be defunct “Berkshire Hills Creamery” property.
