Conservation Commission Public Notice 3/24/21

The Conservation Commission for the Town of Monterey will hold a remote public meeting pursuant to M.G.L., c 131, section 40, the Wetlands Protection Act on March 24, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. to act on the following:

Public Hearing: NOI Notice of Intent DEP# 230-0319 filed by Coyne of 30 Prescott Lane, Map 114, Lot 12 for the proposed construction and associated site work for an addition to an existing single-family home and the placement of a seasonal dock.  The proposed activity is below the 100-year flood plain and within the 100 ft. buffer of Lake Buel.

Public Hearing:  NOI Notice of Intent DEP#230-0318 filed by Hume Lake Christian Camp, Map 235, Lot 001 for the demolition of an existing wooden structure and the proposed construction of a gathering/seating area with fire pit.  The proposed activity is within the 200 ft. Riverfront Area.

Public Hearing: NOI Notice of Intent filed by Bidwell House Inc. of 100 Art School Rd, Map 213, Lot 14 for the proposed construction of foot trails.  The proposed activity is within the 200 ft. riverfront of Loom Brook and bordering vegetated wetlands.

Public Meeting: SMA RDA Scenic Mountain Act Request for Determination filed by Bidwell House Inc., of 100 Art School Rd, Map 213, Lot 14 for the proposed construction of public foot trails.  The proposed activity is above the elevation of 1500 ft and within the mapped mountain region,

Public Meeting: RDA Request for Determination filed by Maultasch of 11 Point Rd Map 102, Lot 19 for the proposed construction of a deck within the buffer zone of Lake Garfield.
