Review and Approve:

Form A – 129 New Marlborough Rd – Map 237/Lot 17 - Tryon Family Nominee Trust

Roger Tryon briefed the members of the proposed plan.  BJ questioned the division of the parcel into two separate parcels.  RT confirmed the parcel is being divided into two..  TS briefed the members of the code requirements for a Form A (building Lot).  BJ questioned if there is a house on the parcel.  RT explained that  the only structures is a barn and machine shop.  LM questioned why the parcel is being divided.  RT explained that the proposal is just a division of land and and a property owner’s right.  TS commented that the proposed division would meet the requirements of a conforming building lot in the future. The Form A was approved as noted on the plan as presented.  CA/LM MSV

Dock Application Review:

Review and Approve:

64 Worth Lane - Map 103, Lot 56 -Marlowe – Reiner

TS briefed the members on the dock license application.  TS noted that application was reviewed and approved last month. No further discussion.

 

Monterey Town Bylaws Review:

Sections 1 and 2

TS briefed the members on the review of the Zoning Town Bylaws.  BJ will research the sections 1.1 and 1.2 for accuracy.  LM questioned the scope of 1.2. CA questioned the applicability.  1.4 TS explained that Monterey has three districts (business, lake, and ag/res district).  BJ reviewed 1.4.  Applicabilility; Nonconformities. RT reviewed 1.4.2 Commencement of Construction or Operation. There was discussion about the confusion of the language.  TS will look into possibly re-wording for more clarity on what the bylaw defines.  TS 1.5 Amendments no discussion.  TS 1.6 Separability no discussion.  It was agreed to continue with the review of the bylaws at future meetings.

Misc:

Requirements for Submissions to the Planning Board

Site Plan Reviews – to change the number of copies submitted.  An update to the website for electronic copies along with hard copies.  Clerk will draft language, submit to TS for approval, and post on website.

Reports from Board Members

TS briefed the members on the letter to Selectboard regarding the Master Plan.  BJ would like to review  how other departments have utilized the last plan. CA commented that Lenox completed a Master Plan as recently reported on Berkshire Eagle. Discussion continued on certain isolated sections of the Master plan rather than as a whole.  TS will continue with the draft of the letter for the members to review at the next meeting.

Review Misc. Correspondence

Fiber Connect review of ZBA application. Clerk will get hard copies out to members before next meeting.
