Meeting opened at 6:59 pm

Agenda

  1. Master Plan status and review scheduled steps for final preparation of document

Seth provided an update on the survey, highlighting how many year-round residents, weekend residents, and seasonal residents have completed the survey thus far.  The Planning Board discussed several strategies to continue to market the survey in order to achieve additional responses.  Seth reviewed the proposed survey timeline that he had created and had already sent it out to the Planning Board Chairs.  He is hopeful to meet on March 9th when the initial draft of the survey results has been submitted.  Seth said that they can tentatively have a draft ready for public review at the Annual Town Meeting. 

  1. Posting of the year-round camp bylaw 

The Select Board brought to their attention a possible zoning error and found that the table of uses was not published in the 2017 version.Tom said that the Planning Board would like to post this information to make it official.Tom asked if the board thought this should be brought up in the future, and noted that the table of uses will need to be published.Tom explained the table of uses and identified the category in which the camp was included.The camp list needs to be changed to say, “by approval”.Tom discussed prior concerns with the camp and reiterated what was said at a prior Select Board meeting with the camp.Kyle presented and discussed concerns he had regarding the camp with the Planning Board.Tom is going to re-connect with Susan to ensure that the information is accurate and will also connect with Melissa to ensure that they are following the correct steps to post the information.

  1. Correspondence

Laura presented a Notice of Decision on Special Permit from 1/26/23 from the Town of Gt. Barrington to the Planning Board. 

Laura also presented a receipt for pending prints for the cards for the Planning Board.  Laura gave this receipt to Melissa. 

  1. Approval of minutes

Margy made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:37pm, Laura seconded.  Call a vote: Chip- yes, Noel- yes, Margy- yes, Tom- yes, Laura- yes.
