Scheduled Agenda Items

  1. Green Communities Discussions
    1. Matt is taking over the Green Communities program from Lauren
    2. Town would need to pass a bylaw that would be a by right to allow an industrial size solar project of 1-1.5 acres. Viability of the site would have to be signed off by Town Council.
    3. Could be on town property to control the growth
    4. Stephen requested if there were other towns bylaws that did not limit to town owned property
    5. Becoming a Green Community can allow for State Moneys to do energy related projects. (130K forst time, more can be applied for) Primarily for Municipal Use
    6. Planning Boards part is to adopt a by right area for large scale solar.
    7. Town is not required to match grants
    8. Unused funds stay available
  2. Marijuana Bylaw Discussions/second Public Hearing
    1. Schedule Public Hearing for Wed Feb 13th at 7:00 pm voted and approved
    2. Notice to the paper will need to be in before the 30th
    3. Tom will post newspaper article and Have melissa put in weekly Blurb
    4. Send a copy to Carol
    5. Note: After Public Hearing send verbiage to the town council
