Central Berkshire District Court Phone Scam

From the Monterey Police Dept: Be aware of the following scam. If you receive a message or call from a number that appears on your caller id as (000) 000-0000 claiming to be from the Central Berkshire District Court, that there are charges being filed against you and to call a 877#, this is a scam. Do not call or give them any personal information. If you have any questions regarding this scam please call your local non-emergency police department phone number. In Monterey that number is (413) 528-1443 (ext. 116).
