Minutes of the Renewable Energy Working Group and Solar Forum Meeting 8/24/2023

Call to order: 6pm

Peter M. opened the meeting, introduced the members of the REWG, and reported that they were going to discuss the work of the UMass Clean Energy Extension assessing solar potential in Monterey, a survey of residents’ preferences relating to solar, and their draft action plan for Monterey for proceeding with solar development in town. 

Peter M. Zara Dowling to present on behalf of UMass.  Accompanying these minutes is a powerpoint presentation which Zara used to make her presentation to the attending community residents. 

Questions, answers and discussion followed.

Chris moved that the REWG adjourn.  Peter M. seconded.  Call a vote: Rob-yes, Peter G.-yes, Peter M. yes, Chris- yes.  Meeting adjourned at 8pm.
