- Report of the 2/10 SBPHC meeting
Jim provided a review of the SBPHC meeting and reported that Monterey would be administering the grant to help increase services in Monterey.The meeting notes from the SBPHC meeting can be found on their website.Jim discussed updates with COVID testing and vaccination, as well as the end of the State of Emergency date.
- Opioids settlement request pooling
Jim provided the Board of Health members with some information about various lawsuits that will bring some income to the Town. There were suggestions about what to do with the funding received in regard to the Opioid settlement. Jim educated the Board of Health about various services provided by the Rural Recovery Center, and said the goal was to see if the Towns would be open to donating their allocated funds to the Rural Recovery Center. John made a motion to donate the Opioid funds to the Rural Recovery Center, Mort seconded. Call a vote: Mort-yes, John-yes, Tom-yes. Jim will write up a letter for the Select Board.
- Unanticipated business
Jim updated the Board of Health about a septic issue for a home with a failed Title V.
The Board of Health discussed the Camp Half-moon septic along with other possible concerns.
