Board of Health Meeting Minutes 7/1/19

MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES

Date:  July 1, 2019

Present:  John Makuc, Roy Carwile, Julio Rodriguez and Peter Kolodziej

The meeting began at 4pm

1. The Board discussed Hume’s site plan for review by the Planning Board for a trailer park.  The Board’s concerns were as follows which will be relayed to the Planning Board:
   1. Plans should be drawn by an engineer not an architect.
   2. Clarification needs to be made if the trailers are for staff only.
   3. Where will the dump station empty to, the main system?
   4. Specifics for the new proposed pool need to be submitted.
2. The Board continued their discussions around Peter’s upcoming retirement and finding a replacement to train.  The Board reviewed the Sanitarian job description provided by the agent with Tri-Town Health and our current job description.  The Board also discussed the new pay schedule.
3. The minutes from 4/22 and 5/20 were approved as written.
4. The next meeting will be Monday, July 15, 2019 at 4pm.

The meeting adjourned at 5:15pm
