Board of Health Meeting Minutes 8/15/22

MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES

Date:  8/15/22

Present:   John Makuc, Mort Salomon and Jim Wilusz

Meeting began at 2:05pm

1. The Board approved the minutes of 6/13/22
2. The Board discussed Monkeypox and whether the Board has any responsibility to alert the population.  Jim and Melissa both noted that a set of frequently asked questions was created by the Public Health Collaborative and has been posted on the town website.
3. No one has shown any interest to date in filling the vacant Animal Inspector role.  Melissa provide the Board with the current job description and applicable Massachusetts General Law.  This will be continued to the next meeting.

A motion was made, seconded and unanimously approved to adjourn at 2:35pm.
