2024 Water Vessel Storage Lottery is Now Open!

Monterey residents wishing to store their water vessel on a rack must obtain an annual permit from the Monterey Parks Commission.  Permits are issued through a lottery.  Applications must be received no later than April 15, 2024.  Same as last year, there will be a limited number (10) of Double Vessel permits which will be allotted in a separate lottery.  The Double Vessel permits are a separate application which is to be used when you have 2 members of the same household that would like to store their water vessels in the racks.  Please download the application ( www.montereyma.gov/parks-commission ) for either a single or a double vessel permit (one application per household in total). 

Kayaks must be removed by October 15 or they will be removed by Public Works department.
