Parks Commission Minutes

Parks Commission April 3, 2019

In attendance:  Julio Rodriquez, Peter Poirer, Wendy Benjamin, Ilene Marcus

1.  Dog Park.  Wendy to explore and find who the interested parties are, the Parks Commission will support the effort  but not own it.

2.  Kayak Signage at Beach.  Discussion of best way to keep the area clear.  Signage will be posted that all small craft not on a rack must be removed. Ilene will get signage. 

3.  Baseball Field.   Email to the Commission about the condition and clean-up.  Peter will follow-up and address the issues.

4.  Skating Rink Closing.  April 13 take down.  Peter to get volunteers (iIene to bring coffee).  It was a great season, thanks to all who helped.

5. Beach Opening June 29, 2019  We plan to hold an opening day welcome event.  We will also schedule clean-up prior to the opening including raking and clean-out of the life guard shed.  

6.  Quorum attended and the minutes were adopted.
