Minutes of the meeting of 1/15/20

Meeting Opened at: 6:30pm

Select Board Members Present: Donald Coburn and Steven Weisz

Also in attendance: George Cain, Rebecca Wolin, Jon Sylbert, Mickey Jervas, Mark Makuc

The Board met with the Finance Committee, Library Director and members of the library trustees to review their FY21 budget request.

1. Wages were all increased by the proposed 2% cost of living increase.
2. General expenses will be reduced by $1,996 and
3. Library maintenance will increase by $1,647
4. Overall increase to budget is $15,481 (20.19%)
5. Prior to the end of the meeting Mickey expressed that the library would like to increase their hours by 10 each week which would cost an additional $12,000.  Since a full Select Board was not present  Mickey and Mark were asked to attend the February 5^th joint meeting to discuss this further.

A motion was made and unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at: 7:30pm
