Minutes of the meeting of 5/11/20

Meeting Opened at: 10:07am

Select Board Members Present: Kenneth Basler, Chair, Donald Coburn, Steven Weisz

The Board held a public hearing on Monday May 11, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. via Go to Meeting to discuss the towns FY19 Monterey Regional CDBG-CV Application. 

DHCD through the CARES act that was passed has $19.6 million available to assist for COVID related activities such as social services, rent and mortgage assistance and small business assistance (forgivable loans).  Monterey will need to determine the percentage they would like to apply for in each category.  A motion was made to apply for 60% seniors, 30% small business and 10% rent and mortgage assistance.  The motion was seconded and unanimously approved.  Alice will send us all the documents and information as rapidly as she receives them.
