Minutes of the meeting of 7/14/23

Meeting Opened at: 8:02am

Select Board Members Present: Susan Cooper and Frank Abbott

Also present: Shawn Tryon

Items discussed:

1. Questions to send to counsel regarding the terms of a lease with the fire company.  Frank will send the questions later today regarding the $60k already saved, drafting a shorter term lease and procurement of services.  No one was in favor of the recommended 20+ year lease.
2. Frank stated that he has provided the Community Center Director with a list of questions to send to Gary O’Brien Outdoor Services with regards to the increase in FY23 mowing prices for the Community Center.
3. The Board agreed that any travel expenses incurred by the Town Administrator with regard to the Walker lawsuit will be reimbursed by the town.

A motion was made and unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at: 8:32am
