Minutes of the meeting of 8/11/20

Meeting Opened at: 5:30pm

Select Board Members Present Remotely: Donald Coburn, Chair, Steven Weisz and John Weingold

Also present remotely: Mark Webber, Peter Chait, Adam Chait

Items discussed:

1. The Board met with Mark Webber to discuss moving toward hiring a Town Administrator.  Mark was asked to submit a proposal to the Board to help on an interim/consultant basis to assist in creating a job description, review realistic prospects, considerations of alternative and the advantages and disadvantages of all.  Mark agreed to submit a soft proposal which would contain a scope of services within the next 2 weeks.
2. The written ethics opinion was reviewed.  As it stated exactly what was verbally iterated last week no further action was necessary.
3. Discussion began on the proposed letter to be sent to Fiber Connect.  Mid way through the discussion John Weingold stated he never received a copy to review so the discussion was tabled to the next meeting.

A motion was made and unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at: 6:11pm
