Minutes of the meeting of 4/24/19

Meeting Opened at: 7pm

Select Board Members Present: Carol Edelman, Chairperson, Kenneth Basler and Donald Coburn

Also in attendance: Adam Chait, Margo Drohan, Mickey Jervas, Tom Sawyer, Paula Lewis, Linda Gero, Pauline & Rick Banducci, Dan Moriarity, Maureen Haugh

The Board opened the meeting to review the multiple pole petitions submitted by Fiber Connect for various locations throughout town.

Adam explained to the audience the reason for applying for his own poles rather than applying to place fiber on the existing Verizon/National Grid poles.

Several abutters were present to express concerns and review the locations of the new poles.

The hearing will be continued to allow Fiber Connect to meet with the Director of Operations to review exact locations of proposed poles he had concerns about, to allow Fiber Connect a chance to meet with those abutters that requested more information and to allow the town time to draft an agreement for Fiber Connect to sign confirming theyagree to move the lines back to the original bypass pole when National Grid and/or Verizon replace the current poles.  The continued hearing will be posted on a future Select Board agenda.

A motion was made and unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at: 7:15pm
